We have been involved with processing FLISP subsidies—previously known as Finance Linked Subsidies—since the scheme was introduced in 2005.
From the very beginning, we were an integral part of the implementation team, starting with the launch of the flagship Cosmo City mixed housing development. Over the years, we have worked closely with numerous business partners, gaining extensive experience and insight into the housing subsidy process.
Through our work, we noticed that many aspiring homeowners are unsure where to start when it comes to purchasing a home. This inspired us to establish Iconic Homeownership Solutions, dedicated to guiding clients every step of the way toward achieving their dream of homeownership.
Since then, we have also expanded our services to assist with bond applications, making it easier for our clients to secure financing and move into their new homes with confidence.

Affordable Housing Consultancy Package
Assisting clients in avoiding exploitation and fraudulent schemes, in accordance with the principles of transparency and consumer protection contemplated in the Housing Act 107 of 1997.
Conducting home loan and FHF pre-assessments to ensure compliance with eligibility criteria outlined in the FHF Programme of the National Housing Code.
Supporting clients, through our network, in identifying suitable properties and facilitating home-loan approval processes.
Providing compliant Deed of Sale documentation and associated legal guidance, consistent with the requirements for lawful property transactions under South African property law.
Referring clients to reputable, vetted partners including estate agents, conveyancers and bond originators, ensuring alignment with the Code’s requirement for the use of accredited and legitimate service providers.
Preparing, validating and compiling FHF applications; assisting beneficiaries with required documentation; capturing applications on the relevant NHFC, Provincial or National Department’s Subsidy Portal; monitoring progress through to final subsidy approval; issuing outcome notifications; and overseeing processes through to the final payment of subsidy amounts, as guided by the FHF administrative procedures set out in the National Housing Code.
Providing continuous communication and support to clients and stakeholders from inception to post-registration, consistent with best-practice beneficiary support measures endorsed in the National Housing Code.
Delivering ongoing educational support to beneficiaries regarding home ownership obligations, costs, budgeting, loan repayment strategies, transfer processes, title
deeds and property maintenance—as encouraged under the consumer education principles referenced in the National Housing Code.
